Two days ago I swore I would not set myself up for a fall by fighting with him about a nap. And what did I do? I tried to force him to take a nap. He fought, Mia cried, and i blew my top. I began throwing things – the box of diaper wipes, Kage’s little TV tray, the plastic measured cup Kage has been carrying around, a Styrofoam cup – anything to keep me from losing my temper on my kids.

I was scared out of my mind. Kage would be two when this baby was due and i was worried about how I would handle an energetic two-year-old and a newborn.

Healthy living is buckling up whenever you are in a vehicle. Using seat belts have saved 75,000 lives during a four year period. If you ride a motorcycle or a bike by all means wear a helmet. The NHTSA claims that helmets saved 1,829 motorcyclists in the year 2008. Make sure you wear a helmet if you roller skate, ice skate, do off road ATV riding or go snowmobiling.

According to the American Cancer Society, lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death for both men and women. And with 87% of all lung cancer cases involving tobacco, it is one form of cancer that is preventable, by and large.

Do you think you want to wait and sign up when you are 65? My good friend Scott told me all he wanted was enough insurance to get himself buried, until he had a heart attack at 54. Now he can’t afford long term care because the insurance company wants so much more money due to his heart attack. So here he is, a high risk, and spending his nest egg for care, when he could have been covered. Medicare won’t cover him, so he has to spend all of his assets, until he is determined to be indigent. Then he can go on Medicaid. He has to be broke to get coverage!

I didn’t enjoy the little milestones my new daughter was reaching and I wasn’t interested in the things my two-year-old son was doing. I tried to act normal and i thought that what I was experiencing was just simple stress.

That’s right! Half of the population will require some form of long term care; half of us! The us Department of health and human services (HHS) says that of the people 65 years old today, 40% will require a stay in a nursing home of five or more years. Right now, nine million Americans are receiving long term care of some kind. 8,550,000 of them are in their community, with someone, like a family member, looking after them. That’s because the average cost of a nursing home, right now, today, in the USA, is 000 per year. Even worse, projections say that in twenty years, in 2030, there will be 23 million Americans getting long term care, and the cost of a nursing home will have risen to 0,000 per year.

If have no coverage offered by your employers, better to have an insurance policy to obtain this type of coverage. One should be clear enough at starting, when he is offered with an appointment letter.
